We have two teams limping into Thursday Night Football this week, with the Denver Broncos taking on the Cleveland Browns.

The Broncos have lost three games in a row, while the Browns have lost back-to-back games and multiple players. Still, the subtraction of star players creates opportunities for others.

Of course, this is something we love to see from an NFL betting perspective. There is value to be had, and we will seek to find it. With that being said, let’s go through four of the best bets for this week’s Thursday Night Football.

Broncos total points: Over 19.5 

The injury list for the Browns continues to grow, with both sides of the ball beat up. This has made their promising defense weak, allowing 84 points the past two weeks. On top of that, their offense has lost many playmakers.

Facing a tough Broncos defense, that should lead to quite a few punts, giving the Denver offense the ball often. The Broncos scored 24 points last week. Look for them to go over this total again.

Courtland Sutton receptions: Over 4.5 

Following last year’s season-ending injury, the Broncos eased Courtland Sutton back into action. He has now played three straight weeks with at least 88 per cent of the snaps, which has led to target totals of 8, 11 and 14.

Look for him to be heavily involved yet again Thursday.

Noah Fant receptions: Over 3.5 

Noah Fant is another Broncos pass catcher that has continued to get more and more involved. He has played at least 87 percent of snaps in four straight weeks.

While his targets have been a bit inconsistent, there’s no doubt he is one of the top weapons on this offense. He is averaging five receptions per game, and he should push for this total on Thursday night.

Javonte Williams receptions: Under 2.5 

Yes, Javonte Williams has been consistently involved in the passing game. He has three receptions in each of his past four games. However, the Browns have been tough against running backs, allowing a total of 21 receptions through six weeks.

In a game that should be tight, the Broncos won’t be in obvious pass situations, like they have been in the past three weeks.
