Baltimore Ravens to beat Houston Texans

The Ravens are coming off a 49-13 thrashing of the Cincinnati Bengals, which followed a huge win over the then-undefeated New England Patriots.

Baltimore have now won five consecutive games and have been unstoppable offensively, averaging 33 points per game over that period.

The Texans are a good team who look almost certain to make the playoffs, but they’ve already lost twice on the road this season – conceding 30 points in both games – so it’s hard to see them slowing down the Ravens in Baltimore.

Buffalo Bills to beat Miami Dolphins

Miami have won two games in a row, but beating the New York Jets and an Indianapolis Colts team led by back-up quarterback Brian Hoyer is hardly anything to shout about.

They now face a much sterner test in the Bills, who beat them 31-21 in Week 7 and now have a 6-3 record.

Buffalo lost in Cleveland last week but had previously won all three of their away games, so they should get back on track on Sunday.

New York Jets to beat Washington Redskins

The Jets are the team to back in a battle between two of the NFL’s worst teams.

They snapped a three-game losing streak last Sunday to beat the similarly-terrible New York Giants, and showed with a shock Week 5 win over the Dallas Cowboys that they can, on occasion, resemble a decent team.

The Redskins – who are 1-8 – have shown no such thing. Their only victory to date was a 17-16 nail-biter against the Dolphins, in which Miami failed on a last-minute two-point attempt to win the game.

New England Patriots to beat Philadelphia Eagles

The Patriots have had an extra week of rest since they suffered their first defeat of the season to the Ravens, which should give them a huge edge in this Super Bowl LII rematch.

Since Tom Brady became their starting quarterback in 2001, New England have a 13-4 record coming off a bye week.

The Eagles could be without their two top receivers on Sunday, and have to face a Patriots defence that has allowed the second-fewest passing yards in the NFL this season.
