Detroit Lions to beat Miami Dolphins

The Lions beat the Green Bay Packers 31-23 in Week 5 before last week’s bye, and they should be well-rested and well-prepared for this trip to Miami.

Both of Detroit’s wins this year have come against potential playoff contenders, which bodes well for this game against the Dolphins, who currently lead the AFC East with a 4-2 record.

Backup quarterback Brock Osweiler is set to start for Miami in the absence of starter Ryan Tannehill. The former Denver Bronco has thrown 23 interceptions and just 24 touchdowns in 23 games over the past three seasons.

Minnesota Vikings to beat New York Jets

The Vikings earned their second successive win by beating the Arizona Cardinals 27-17 last week, taking their record to 3-2-1 for the season.

Mike Zimmer’s team are finding a way to win despite not being at their best so far, and they should grind another one out in New York this weekend.

The Jets have won two games on the bounce, but they’ve lost to the Dolphins, Browns and Jaguars this season, and the Vikings are simply better than all three of those teams.

Philadelphia Eagles to beat Carolina Panthers

Home advantage should prove crucial in this all-NFC clash.

The Eagles were undefeated in Philadelphia last season until they rested the majority of their starters in the regular-season closer against the Dallas Cowboys, and they’ve won two of three at home so far this year.

Expect the Super Bowl champions to dominate a Panthers team that have both of their away games this season, including last week’s 23-17 defeat to the Washington Redskins.

New Orleans Saints to beat Baltimore Ravens

The Saints have won four in a row since they were shocked by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, and they should be well-rested on Sunday night after a bye last weekend.

This match-up with the Ravens is a tricky one – Baltimore are the only team quarterback Drew Brees is yet to beat – but the Saints’ defence has really impressed in their last two games, holding both the New York Giants and Washington Redskins to under 20 points.

Brees and the offense have been as prolific as ever this season, so they should outscore the Ravens, who are averaging 10.5 points fewer per game than New Orleans.
