Here are Jack Green's NFL predictions for Sunday's games, which make up a 9/1 four-fold.

Houston Texans to beat Chicago Bears

The Texans lost 26-20 to the Indianapolis Colts last week but didn’t disgrace themselves against a likely playoff team and should bounce back to beat the Bears.

Chicago are on a terrible run of form, with a 34-30 defeat to the Detroit Lions last week being their sixth consecutive loss.

The Bears’ defence has been solid for most of the season but has allowed 41 and 34 points in the past two weeks – their two highest totals of the year – and they’ll have no chance of beating the Texans if they perform poorly again on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat Minnesota Vikings

The Buccaneers are coming off a bye week and now have a perfect match up against the Vikings.

Minnesota’s offense relies upon the ground game as much as any team in the league, but star running back Dalvin Cook will likely struggle against a Buccaneers defence that has allowed the fewest rushing yards in the NFL.

Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady has struggled of late, but he should return to form here given that the Vikings’ defence has allowed the sixth-most passing yards of any team this season.

Indianapolis Colts to beat Las Vegas Raiders

The Colts put themselves firmly in the playoff picture with their win over the Texans last Sunday, moving to 8-4 for the season thanks to three wins in the past four weeks.

Indianapolis have been relatively consistent all year, whereas the Raiders are currently in a slump. They lost back-to-back games to the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons before only just managing to edge out the still-winless New York Jets last week.

Las Vegas have allowed an average of 35.3 points per game over the last three weeks and it’s hard to see them having enough offensive firepower to beat a Colts team that ranks inside the top 10 in both points for and against this season.

Washington Football Team to beat San Francisco 49ers

Washington earned a huge win on Monday night, beating the then-undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers 23-17 on the road thanks to an impressive defensive performance.

The Football Team have now won three consecutive games, scoring 84 points during that run while conceding just 42.

They’re worth backing at this price to extend their winning streak against the 49ers, who have won just one of their last five games and have a 1-5 record at home this season.
