NFL betting tips: Our 17/2 four-fold for Week 16
Jack Green's NFL tips and predictions for Sunday's games feature four teams in a 17/2 accumulator.
Here are Jack Green's NFL predictions for Sunday's games, which make up a 17/2* four-fold.
Indianapolis Colts to beat Pittsburgh Steelers
After winning their first 11 games of the season, the Steelers have lost three in a row, culminating in a terrible 27-17 loss to the three-win Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.
Pittsburgh’s offense is in awful shape, having failed to score more than 19 points in any of their last four games.
They now face the Colts, one of the league’s most balanced teams who have won three in a row and five of their last six.
Los Angeles Chargers to beat Denver Broncos
The Chargers beat AFC West rivals Las Vegas 30-27 last week, meaning they’ve now won back-to-back games for the first time all season and three of their last five at home.
Rookie quarterback Justin Herbert looked back to his best last week after struggling in his previous couple of games, and he looks set for another strong performance against a Denver defence that conceded 48 last week.
The Broncos have lost three of their last four games, and their last seven defeats have all come by a margin of at least a touchdown.
Philadelphia Eagles to beat Dallas Cowboys
The Eagles are coming off a 33-26 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals, but their offense has shown real promise in the past two weeks under new starter Jalen Hurts.
The rookie led them to an impressive win over Super Bowl contenders New Orleans a fortnight ago, and he should have another big game against a Dallas defence that has conceded the second-most points per game of any team this season.
The Cowboys have won their last two games against the Cincinnati Bengals and San Francisco 49ers, but they’ve lost their last three games against NFC East opponents, including a 23-9 defeat to the Eagles in week 8.
Los Angeles Rams to beat Seattle Seahawks
The Rams somehow lost 23-20 to the previously winless New York Jets last week, but they should bounce back against a Seattle team that they beat 23-16 in week 10.
Los Angeles present a really difficult match-up for the Seahawks, as they have an excellent defence capable of stifling Seattle’s offensive weapons and a running game that can control the game and keep the ball out of Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s hands.
Wilson made an electric start to the season, but he and the Seattle offense have looked out of sorts in the past few weeks. They were fortunate to beat the Washington Football Team last week and have been held to 23 points or fewer in four of their last six games.
