NFL betting tips: Our 13/2 four-fold for Week 4
After landing an 11/2 winner last week, Jack Green is back with his NFL tips and predictions for the fourth Sunday of the season.
Here are Jack Green's NFL predictions for the fourth week of the season, which make up a 13/2 four-fold.
Arizona Cardinals to beat Carolina Panthers
The Cardinals are coming off a defeat to the Detroit Lions but should bounce back to beat the 1-2 Panthers.
Carolina have struggled against both the run and the pass this season and now face one of the NFL’s best dual-threat quarterbacks in Kyler Murray, who already has four passing and four rushing touchdowns.
The Panthers narrowly beat the Los Angeles Chargers last week, but they were led by a rookie quarterback making his first NFL start. Murray is far more dangerous and should cause them major problems.
Jacksonville Jaguars to beat Cincinnati Bengals
The Jaguars suffered a humbling defeat to the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night last week but have now had extra time to prepare for a Bengals team that is yet to win this season.
Cincinnati had a golden opportunity last week against the struggling Philadelphia Eagles but could only manage a tie in overtime. Rookie quarterback Joe Burrow has impressed this season but they’ve struggled to get their running game going behind a poor offensive line.
The Jaguars have a much more balanced offense, with running back James Robinson in red-hot form, and should do enough to earn the away win on Sunday.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat Los Angeles Chargers
This is a great matchup for the Buccaneers, who are arguably the best team in the NFL when it comes to stopping the run.
The Chargers’ offense runs through running backs Austin Ekeler and Joshua Kelley, but they will struggle to find room on the ground against a defence that has allowed just 2.9 rushing yards per attempt this season.
With the running game bottled up, this will likely be a quarterback duel between Chargers rookie Justin Herbert and six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, so there should only be one winner.
Buffalo Bills to beat Las Vegas Raiders
The Bills have been one of the league’s most impressive teams so far. They are 3-0 having come through a tricky test against the Los Angeles Rams last week, and quarterback Josh Allen is playing at an MVP level.
The Raiders have been solid this season but were beaten 36-20 by the New England Patriots last week to drop to 2-1.
Las Vegas’ defence allowed 250 rushing yards in that defeat and now face a Buffalo offense that features two good running backs and a quarterback who does damage both through the air and with his feet.
