Here are Jack Green's four NFL tips to consider for Thursday night's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win

Tampa Bay have won three consecutive games since they were beaten by the New Orleans Saints in week 1, with their offense – led by quarterback Tom Brady – averaging over 32 points per game over those three victories.

They now face a Chicago Bears team that looked awful in a 19-11 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in which quarterback Nick Foles struggled badly in his first start of the season.

David Montgomery under 48.5 rushing yards

Montgomery struggled to find running room against the Colts last week, gaining just 27 yards on 10 carries.

The 23-year-old has been held under 50 rushing yards in each of his last two games and now faces Tampa Bay’s excellent run defence, which has allowed the second-fewest yards per game this season.

Mike Evans over 68.5 receiving yards

Evans has been the focal point of the Tampa Bay offense with fellow receiver Chris Godwin out injured. He had seven catches for 122 yards last week, and seven for 104 yards in week 2 when Godwin was also absent.

Providing he shakes off an ankle injury, Evans is sure to see plenty of targets again on Thursday night, particularly with slot receiver Scotty Miller also carrying hip and groin problems.

Mike Evans to score a touchdown

Evans is Tom Brady’s top target everywhere on the field, but particularly near the goalline.

The 27-year-old has caught five touchdown passes in four games so far this season, including three from inside of two yards.
