San Francisco 49ers -2.5

The 49ers have lost six consecutive games, but should get a much-needed win on Thursday night against an equally poor Raiders team whose best offensive players have either been traded away or injured.

All eight Thursday games this season have been won by the betting favourites, with seven of those also covering the spread.

Home teams are also 7-1 on Thursday nights this year, and 6-2 against the spread.

George Kittle to gain over 59.5 receiving yards and score a touchdown

Kittle has been the 49ers’ top receiving option all season, having averaged 73 yards per game and scored two receiving touchdowns.

The 25-year-old is poised for another big game against an Oakland defence that have allowed the joint-most yards per pass attempt in the NFL, along with five touchdowns to tight ends, which is also a league high.

Jared Cook to gain over 59.5 receiving yards and score a touchdown

Cook, another tight end, also looks a good bet to rack up the yards on Thursday night, having averaged 67.7 across the first seven games.

The 31-year-old is the clear No. 1 receiving option in Oakland after they traded away Amari Cooper before last week’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, in which Cook managed 74 yards and a touchdown.

Marquise Goodwin under 2.5 receptions

Goodwin is a deep threat with the speed to score at any time, but he doesn’t catch many passes, with just 12 receptions in six games so far.

The 27-year-old is yet to have more than four receptions in a game this season, and has caught just three balls over the past two weeks.
