Leon Draisaitl to score 2+ points vs Boston 2.15

After being held off the score sheet for just the second time this season against Detroit on Tuesday, I’d expect Draisaitl to be pushing for big-time offense in a big test for his team on the road against Boston. The last time Draisaitl didn’t have a point, he had three the next game against Vegas.

This season, Draisaitl has more multi-point games than he does single-point or no-point games. He’s hit the score sheet multiple times in six games and has one or fewer points in five games. The Deutschland Dangler has been an absolute force this year. I wouldn’t want to be on the team facing him after he didn’t get a point.

On top of that, Draisaitl’s two-point line gives you a little more value than McDavid’s at this point. I think the big German is just as likely to get on the score sheet for multiple points.

Johnny Gaudreau to score 1+ point vs Montreal 1.60

Johnny Hockey has been a top scorer for the Flames this season with 14 points over 12 games. He only has points in one of his last four games – a three-point effort against the Rangers last week. Gaudreau has been a fairly consistent source of offense otherwise. On top of that, he’s done very well against Montreal in his career with 20 points in 21 career games.

Given the quality of the Canadiens right now, top players like Gaudreau should be able to have a lot of opportunity to hit the scoresheet. This feels like a lower-risk play on the always-risky player prop bets, but Gaudreau looks exceptional this season and he’s a guy I’ve had some success with before on the individual props.

Kyle Connor anytime goalscorer vs San Jose 2.30

The Winnipeg Jets haven’t had a ton of consistent scorers, but one of them has been Connor who leads the team with nine goals. One of those nine came in the OT loss to San Jose on October 30. Connor has goals in three of his last five games and five of his nine goals this year have come on home ice.

Part of the reason to look at Kyle as a potential goal scorer is the volume of shots he’s getting off this season. He is averaging over four shots on goal per game and is scoring on 18.4 per cent of his shots, which is a career-high scoring percentage. While that number likely regresses in the near future, I think it’s still worth riding the wave a bit here as Connor has been a dependable goal scorer early on.

Tomas Hertl to score 1+ point vs Winnipeg 1.75

The San Jose Sharks winger has had a fair season to date, but he’s really done well against the Winnipeg Jets. He has three points over the two games between the two sides and is in the midst of his best scoring stretch of the season. Hertl has six points over his last five games.

His scoring on the road hasn’t been as great, but given his success against the Jets so far this season and him being on a bit of a roll right now, I like his chances of finding the scoresheet tonight.
