Jonathan Huberdeau to score 2+ points vs Ottawa Senators

Huberdeau has continued to stake his claim to being one of if not the best playmaker in the NHL with his incredible passing ability. He leads the NHL with 57 assists and seemingly is guaranteed at least one a game.

He has assists in 10 straight games and has been held without one in just 14 of his 53 games this season. On this 10-game assist streak, Huberdeau had at least two assists in five of the games.

He did not have any assists in Florida’s last game against Ottawa, but over his career, he has 16 assists in 27 meetings. With the Panthers in need of a spark, I’d expect Huberdeau to step up.

Cole Caufield anytime goal scorer vs Calgary Flames

The Canadiens are going to have their hands full with a red-hot Calgary Flames team, but Caufield has been on fire himself. With five goals in his last nine games, Caufield has reclaimed his scoring touch under new head coach Martin St. Louis. He also has points in seven of his last nine games.

The diminutive sniper hasn’t scored a goal in either of his last two games and hasn’t done much of his goal scoring on the road this year, but I just feel like riding the hot hand in this one based on the value.

Cale Makar to score 2+ points vs Arizona Coyotes

With two or more points in five of his last nine games, Makar’s production continues to soar. He has 17 total multi-point games over 50 this season.

While the Arizona Coyotes have struggled mightily this year, they have held Makar to just one point over two previous meetings. Still, I look at the value on him hitting the scoresheet twice and I like it quite a bit.

His goal scoring has cooled a little bit lately, but I don’t anticipate that to stay down for long. And despite that, he’s still collecting assists with remarkable regularity - he's in the midst of a nine-game point streak over which all the points were assists.

Nikita Kucherov anytime goal scorer vs Pittsburgh Penguins

With goals in each of his last four games, Kucherov has seemingly hit his stride – if it was ever broken. The former Hart Trophy Winner has been unstoppable of late, though, pouring 14 shots on goal over his last four contests.

Kucherov’s goal totals against Pittsburgh have not been super remarkable. He has seven in 20 games against them, but has averaged better than a point-per-game against the Pens. He’s also averaged about three shots on goal per game against them.

I think this is another case of looking at the hot hand and seeing if there’s any more goals to be mined out of him on this current hot streak.
