Here are five bets Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Scotland v England, which kicks off at 16:45 on Saturday.

Scotland (+7.5)

This bet has landed in four of the last five matches between these sides at Murrayfield, including Scotland’s 25-13 win in 2018.

It even landed in their most recent meeting at Twickenham, when Scotland recovered from 31 points down to secure a famous 38-38 draw.

Winning margin: England 1-12

England lost their opener last weekend but should have enough to beat a Scotland side that have only won two of eight matches against top-tier sides during the last year.

It is likely to be a tight match, though, with three of the last five meetings between these sides being decided by 12 or fewer points.

England to score the first try

England have scored the first try of the match in four of their last five against Scotland.

All four of those tries came within the first 15 minutes of the match.

First tryscorer: Jonny May

May scored twice against France last weekend and will once again start on the right wing for England.

He now has 21 tries in his last 28 international starts, and 12 in 20 in the Six Nations. If you successfully back him to score first here, then Betway will double your winnings in cash if he scores a second.

Anytime tryscorer: Stuart Hogg

Hogg dropped the ball over the line against Ireland last weekend, denying Scotland the chance for a famous win at the Aviva Stadium.

The Scotland skipper will be their principal threat once again on Saturday, and won’t make the same mistake twice.
