Here are five bets Guy Giles thinks you should consider for Japan v South Africa, which kicks off at 11:15 on Sunday.

Japan (+14)

One thing we learned from the pool stages is to not bet against Japan, but they face a seriously tough test against South Africa on Sunday.

This bet covers all bases, as if the Springboks prove a step too far then Japan should at least have enough to keep it within this margin.

Japan made slow starts against Russia, Ireland and Scotland, going behind in all three matches.

South Africa, meanwhile, took the lead within 10 minutes in all four of their pool games.

This World Cup has seen more tries at this stage than the last two tournaments, with 249 scored at an average of nearly seven per match.

Japan scored 13 in their four matches and South Africa 27 across their four, so this looks a safe bet on Sunday.
