IRELAND v SCOTLAND (Saturday, 14:15)

Ireland to win by 1-10 points –

Scotland have lost their last 15 Six Nations away games against teams other than Italy.

Ireland have won six in a row at home in this competition, with five of those victories falling within this margin.

Jacob Stockdale to score a try –

Stockdale didn’t let us down last time with a third brace in his last four internationals.

The Ulster winger averages more than a try per Test for Ireland, and should get plenty of chances to add to that tally against an expansive Scotland side.

Over 49.5 total points –

The last four meetings between these sides have produced 49 points or more.

Ireland and Wales shared 64 at the Aviva last time out, so that average is unlikely to be brought down.

FRANCE v ENGLAND (Saturday, 16:45)

England to win by 1-10 points –

England were outplayed by Scotland, but will not lose back-to-back matches for the first time under Eddie Jones against this limited French side.

But games between these two are always close, with 10 of the last 11 decided by 10 points or fewer.

Both teams to score 20+ points –

This has been the case the last four times these sides have met at the Stade de France.

With England’s team selection suggesting they’ll be more adventurous than normal, the pattern ought to continue on Saturday.

England to get a yellow card –

Sam Underhill’s yellow card against Scotland was England’s first in 11 matches.

But with four in their last six against France, they do have a history of bad behaviour in Le Crunch.

WALES v ITALY (Sunday, 15:00)

Wales to win by under 26.5 points –

Wales have won 10 in a row against Italy, but only two of those victories exceeded this margin.

Having made 10 changes from the side that lost to Ireland, don’t expect them to run away with this one.

Liam Williams to score a try –

Williams has scored a try in all three of his Test appearances against the Azzurri.

As one of the more experienced members of the Welsh back line, he is sure to be regularly used as a strike runner.

Italy to score over 1.5 tries –

Italy have scored two tries in each of their last two visits to Cardiff.

They’ve touched down twice away to France and three times away to Ireland already this tournament, and are in the sort of form to keep that run going.
