Ireland (-22.5)

Ireland have lost their opening two games for the first time in Six Nations history, but should bounce back against Italy.

Their losses to Wales and France both came by just one score after Andy Farrell’s side failed to take their chances in the opposition half.

The return of Johnny Sexton at fly-half should be a catalyst for a more fluent offensive performance against an Italy side that have conceded 91 points already this year.

Over 51.5 total points

Five of the last seven meetings between Italy and Ireland have tipped this mark, including their most recent meeting in the Autumn Nations Cup, which finished 50-17.

Both of Italy’s matches in the tournament to date have also seen at least 52 points scored.

Johnny Sexton to score anytime

Sexton missed Ireland’s loss to France after sustaining a head injury against Wales, but returns at No. 10 on Saturday.

His distribution from first receiver is likely to create scoring chances for the players outside him, but don’t overlook his running threat.

He also has a good try-scoring record against the Azzurri, registering three in eight previous starts.

Jordan Larmour to score anytime

One of the players that will benefit from Sexton’s return is Larmour, who starts on the left wing on Saturday.

He has three tries in three matches against Italy.
