JELENA OSTAPENKO v ANGELIQUE KERBER

Ostapenko to win 2-1 –

Having struggled with the weight of expectation after her unlikely 2017 French Open triumph, Ostapenko has looked back to her best at Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old is yet to drop a set in the competition, with her awesome power producing 32 winners to Dominika Cibulkova’s six in the last 16 on Monday.

These two have never met in competition, so there is clear value in backing the underdog to come through a tight match.

JULIA GOERGES v SERENA WILLIAMS

Williams to win 2-0 –

Only an inspired set from Camila Giorgi has denied Serena Williams perfect progress to this stage, and she should comfortably book her place in a 10th Wimbledon final on Thursday.

The seven-time champion, who has not lost at SW19 since 2014, has looked calm throughout the tournament, while doubts over her pre-tournament fitness appear to have been misplaced.

Goerges has been taken to three sets in three of her five matches so far, and this should be one step too far.
