Middlesbrough to beat Huddersfield

Third-placed Middlesbrough are doing their best to keep the race for promotion alive in the Championship, sitting three points behind Sheffield United.

Boro have won eight of their last 10 league games and are top of the form table.

Huddersfield are third-bottom and have won two of their last 15 matches in all competitions.

Sheffield United to beat Norwich

Sheffield United are second in the Championship, three points clear of third, and have won five of their last seven games in all competitions.

That run includes back-to-back away victories for the Blades, who have the third-best travelling record in the Championship.

Seventh-placed Norwich are wobbling at the wrong time for their play-off push and are currently three without a win.

Charlton to beat Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury’s outside chance of a play-off spot looks to have disappeared after winning just one of their last four, opening a nine-point gap between themselves and sixth place.

Steve Cotterill’s side are without a win in five away games, failing to score in three of them.

Charlton are also on the beach, although a recent uptick in form has seen them take eight points from their last four matches.

Peterborough to beat Oxford

Oxford have picked up just two points in their last 11 league games as they slide into the relegation fight.

The U’s are two points above the relegation zone, while the two draws they managed in that sequence came against teams currently in the bottom six.

Seventh-placed Peterborough cut the gap to the play-off positions to one point following a 2-0 victory over Derby last weekend, which was their fourth in five games and Darren Ferguson’s ninth in 14 since returning as manager.

Gillingham to beat Barrow

Gillingham have picked up more points than any other League Two side since the turn of the year.

That run of 30 points from 16 matches has dragged them out of relegation trouble and into mid-table, and would have given them a shot at the play-offs had it come any earlier in the season.

Barrow’s own play-off charge has stalled recently, with two victories in their last five matches. Given that they have managed just two wins in nine at home, this looks like great value.
