Burnley to beat Reading

Even at short odds, Burnley are an obvious inclusion in your Saturday acca.

Vincent Kompany’s side could seal the Championship title with victory after winning 15 and drawing four of their 19 games since the World Cup.

Reading have sacked Paul Ince after a run of three draws and five defeats from their last eight games, but that change is unlikely to make much difference against the runaway leaders.

Sunderland to beat Birmingham

Sunderland still have a shot at the play-offs after beating Cardiff on Easter Monday.

The Mackems have played well in recent home draws against Hull and Luton, and can beat a Birmingham side that struggles against decent teams on the road.

John Eustace’s side have lost three of their last six away from home, and have only avoided defeat against bottom-five teams.

Accrington Stanley to beat Fleetwood

This is a huge game for Accrington, who sit in the final relegation place and could get themselves above the dotted line with a win.

John Coleman’s side beat Port Vale 3-0 in their last home game, making it three home wins in six in the league, and face a similar match against mid-table opposition here.

Fleetwood won’t be going up or down this season and have lost three of their last four on the road.

Portsmouth to beat Shrewsbury

Portsmouth need wins to keep their play-off hopes alive and this looks like a good opportunity to pick one up.

Pompey have taken 12 points from their last six matches, including two wins from three away games.

Shrewsbury have lost their last four games, scoring one goal and conceding 13.

Barrow to beat Swindon

Like Portsmouth, Barrow probably need to win this game to stand much chance of reaching the League Two play-offs.

Pete Wild’s side have won three of their last four matches and take on out-of-form opposition.

Swindon have lost four straight games, including three defeats in a row at home.
