MK Dons to beat Morecambe

MK Dons have won six of their nine matches against teams currently in the bottom six.

Despite enduring a poor season, they have already beaten Morecambe twice in the league and EFL Cup this season.

The Dons can put more distance between themselves and Derek Adams’ side, whose only away win in the league came against bottom-of-the-league Forest Green.

Peterborough to beat Derby

Peterborough are the likeliest of any side currently outside the League One play-off places to crash the party, with four points and a game in hand between them and Bolton in sixth.

Posh have won three of their last four league games, scoring 10 goals in the process.

Fifth-placed Derby are going through a wobble, which has seen them win just three of their last nine league games.

Portsmouth to beat Port Vale

Port Vale lost 3-2 at home to Burton last weekend, meaning they have managed just two victories in 13 matches.

Their only away win in eight came against bottom club Forest Green and – sitting nine points above the relegation zone and 20 behind the play-off places – their season looks destined to peter out.

Portsmouth are also unlikely to go up or down but, with six victories and a draw from their last nine matches, are in considerably better form than their opponents.

Barrow to beat AFC Wimbledon

Barrow are looking to close the seven-point gap on the play-off places and maintain their top-seven challenge.

Pete Wild’s side had won three and drawn two of their previous five games prior to a shock 1-0 defeat at Harrogate last weekend.

Wimbledon are without a win in 10 league games and have picked up one point in their last six.

Colchester to beat Tranmere

Colchester came from two goals down in the 89th-minute to claim a 2-2 draw away to league leaders Leyton Orient in manager Ben Garner’s second game last weekend.

That point ended a run of four straight defeats – each of them coming against teams in the top seven – and they can go one better here.

Tranmere sacked manager Micky Mellon following their 3-1 loss at home to Newport last time out, which was their sixth defeat in 11.
